Good News Clubs

What is a Good News Club?

ARISE2Read focuses on academic improvement for the student and accomplishes this by tutoring them in sight word fluency during the school day. However, ARISE2Read desires most of all for children to be able to read the Word of God and enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. One way to reach the children in our ARISE2Read schools is through a weekly before or after-school program called a Good News Club. This exciting, fun-filled environment is an opportunity for volunteers to enter the school building and share the love of Christ. Through dynamic Bible lessons, meaningful fun songs, and life-changing Scripture memory, children are able to learn about God and develop relationships with other Christians.

That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.” – Psalm 78:6-7
