How it works…

Why it’s important…

By age nine, a person’s moral foundations are generally in place. Their fundamental perspective on truth, integrity, meaning, justice, morality and ethics are formed early in life. (Barna Research Group).

“That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.”

– Psalm 78:6-7

What are Bible Clubs?

ARISE2Read focuses on academic improvement for the student and accomplishes this by tutoring them in sight word fluency during the school day. However, ARISE2Read’s greatest desire is for children to be able to read the Word of God and enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. One way to reach the children in our ARISE2Read schools is through weekly after-school programs. These exciting, fun-filled environments present opportunities for volunteers to enter the school building and share the love of Christ. Through dynamic Bible lessons, meaningful fun songs, and life-changing Scripture memory, children are able to learn about God and develop relationships with other Christians.
