Education
Make a Difference
Our mission at ARISE2Read is to close the literacy achievement gap. You CAN make a difference for two 2nd-grade students with just 1 hour a week during the school day. ARISE2Read will provide the training and materials for you to engage in a fun protocol, helping young students improve their foundational literacy skills. If you have a heart to serve, we NEED you!

Financial Support

financial support
ARISE2Read is a 501(c)(3) that relies on donations to fund our work. Our small staff is dedicated to improving the educational outcomes of the students we serve. We accomplish this by recruiting and training volunteers throughout our community. ARISE2Read provides all the materials our volunteers need to serve their students in our partner schools. In addition, ARISE2Read provides 10 brand-new books each year for ALL 2nd graders in our schools to ensure children in low-income communities have access to books in the home.
