Founded in 2013, ARISE2Read takes an active role in the development of children in our public schools through the presence of volunteers focused on literacy. We provide every 2nd grader in an ARISE2Read school with 8-10 brand new books each year, tutor students one-on-one for an hour per week utilizing a simple sight word approach, and facilitate weekly Bible Clubs that meet after-school hours at several locations across the city.
